Meet the Board

Joe Boneysteele has been the CVC President since 2016.  He has coached his daughter for fast pitch at Scott Township Athletic Association, Pittsburgh Riot travel team, Chartiers Valley Middle School and High School programs.  He actively umpires games in the CVC.

Shawn Arlet

Vice President

Shawn Arlet has served as the CVC Vice President since 2020.  He coached his 3 daughters for Collier Baseball Softball Organization and most recently coached fast pitch at 12U in 2026.  He has served on the Board for Collier Softball.   

Shane Franchick

Treasurer

Shane Franchick has been on the CVC Board since 2021 and serves as our Treasurer.  Shane also serves on the Bridgeville Athletic Association Board along with the Bridgeville Borough Council.  He most recently coached 15U fast pitch in Bridgeville in 2026.  He actively umpires baseball/softball games.

Joe Bolton

Secretary

Joe Bolton has been Secretary of the CVC since 2006. He coached his 3 daughters in slow pitch for Oakdale and West Allegheny Slow Pitch.  He has resided on multiple softball boards.  Joe umpires for the CVC and serves as the CVC Umpire Chief scheduling umpires for many areas.   

Jim Schindler

Slow Pitch Commisioner

Jim Schindler was elected Slow Pitch Commissioner in 2024.  Jim coached slow pitch and served on numerous boards over his 25 plus years including the WPISL and Shaler organizations.  He was instrumental in bringing together all the largest external organizations for slow pitch into the CVC.
